I never rented a room, the only thing I didn't like was they never had a good selection of diet pop.

I'll start by saying that over my coast-to-coast drive home, this was my #1 favorite of all stops! They have gas here, a restaurant, and lodging to touch the checklist items. It was the 2nd wknd in May which I later discovered was early in the season for tourists but I was in Luck! They had just finished renovating single rooms that afternoon. Lucky Me! But let's back it up. I dropped my things & had to get some real food in me so I went up to the restaurant for dinner. Since it was early in the season I got to chat w/ and get to know a little of everyone working there that day & connect. Amazing stories to listen to from genuine, good people. I was alone on this trip after a big loss in my family. These folks made me feel at home when I was thousands of miles away. I am sincerely grateful for that. The property was beautiful and of course, has beautiful mountain views. There were several independent cabins spread out & single rooms as well. The room as advertised was newly renovated! Very modern aesthetic w/ that brand new sparkling clean touch! Microwave & mini fridge, in-room controlled heating, good wifi and a great shower! There were even friendly dogs and a cat on the property to give it that extra homey feeling. Oh, did I mention it was a brand new bed & pillow set?! Y'all I didn't even grab my pillow from the truck! So comfy, slept like a baby! Was surprised w/ snow the following morning & in hindsight probably visibly worried. After coffee & breakfast then getting the truck packed, the young guy, who was naturally familiar w/ the area, gave great details of what to watch out for now that there was snow on the roads. Thank You!! That prepared me well & gave me something to focus on/distract me bc this girl does not like driving in the snow! Happy to say, I made it Driving through British Columbia was hands down the most beautiful mountains I have seen so far in my life. I'm determined to make that drive again but at a more leisurely pace. I highly recommend this place if you're driving through. This is a stop you will definitely enjoy!
